Hello!

I'm Katherine, a product designer based in New York City. Enjoy browsing my work, and don't hesitate to reach out if you think I would be a great fit for your project. I am currently open to new opportunities.

Agolo

Agolo is a summarization software. From a selection of news sources or documents, users can create summaries in minutes based on subjects of their choosing.

The user receives a daily newsletter with summaries created from a query of keywords.

Users can create multiple queries on different topics in order to stay informed about current events.

In order to optimise the keyword search, we used a process called linting to flag keyword errors, bugs, stylistic errors, and suspicious constructs.

Once a feed has been created, it can take up to 60 seconds to create and load the summaries. We wanted to visually communicate to users what's happening in the back-end to minimize the perceived wait time.
